At 38 years old, Kristal Barrington, mother of two was still a very attractive woman, healthy and intelligent - ordinarily a real catch. But these were not ordinary times!
She shuddered at the sight of the small concrete cell before her.
It looked barely big enough for her youngest child, Tom to occupy let alone a grown woman like herself.
She wondered briefly where her two year old son was and what he was doing.
The court had given custody of little Tom to his father shortly after Kristal's genetic impurities had been discovered. She would never be allowed to see him again and given the future life that awaited her, Kristal knew it was probably for the best. Kristal's step daughter, Sindy had just turned eighteen so there was no need for her to get involved in any of the dehumanisation proceedings that now relegated Kristal to the status of domestic animal, stripping her of all her human rights.
Kristal's case went thru swiftly and smoothly, the only loose end to tie up had been the actual ownership of Kristal herself.
Kristal's ex-husband lived overseas and since the export of all livestock was not permitted after the plague, the court awarded ownership of her own mother to Sindy.

"Please, Sindy darling, you're not putting me in THERE!?" Kristal's question was shrill with desperation and fear and yet she still managed to keep her voice down too a whisper.

"Sssh, Mom! It's what the masters want. They'll keep you in here while they're preparing and training you for your new duties. I've told them I want you trained perfectly by two weeks time. Now be quiet, you shouldn't even be talking to a human!"

"Please, Sindy...what's going to happen to me?"

"Be quiet, bitch or I'll use my stick on you!"

Kristal flinched at her daughter's newly acquired sharp tone, it was full of venom and harshness.

"But you're my daughter, you shouldn't be in control of me - its not right!' Again, she whispered.

"NO! You used to be my step-mom. You're NOT my real mum, so you'll obey me now!"

"Please...Sindy. Please, I have to know what's going to happen to me?"

"OK, ok! Now listen carefully because I'm only going to explain once. Come close and kneel before me in your new listening pose you've been taught.."

Already, Kristal had been trained in three simple poses - 'sit', 'stay' and 'listen'. Listen involved Kristal kneeling upright with her thighs spread as wide apart as possible, her bloated breasts thrust obscenely forward in presentation posture. Her mouth was open as wide as possible with her tongue hanging out - this was to ensure silence.
Blushing with shame, Kristal knelt in front of her step-daughter.

"Good, girl."

The patronising tone of Sindy's voice deepened Kristal's sense of embarrassment.
Sindy was the exact opposite of her stepmother - slim, petite and young and yet here she now stood over her, holding her leash in one hand and a heavy baton, the burning sting of which she had already felt on her soft behind when she failed to react quickly to one of Sindy's commands in the other.
Sindy was dressed in the smart, clean uniform of the MYM (The Master's Youth Movement) and the overall officiousness of her clothing heightened Kristal's awareness of her own vulnerable nakedness.

"Right, Mom..I'll make this quick and be very, very sure that this is the last time you will ever be allowed to speak to me or another human. Do I make myself clear!?"

Again, Kristal was startled by the newly acquired aggression in her daughter's tone and the assertive body language that accompanied it. Passive by nature, Kristal nodded forlornly.

"Ok, this is what's going to happen to you...."
